14 Days Of Prayer + Fasting

January 11-25th 2026

A TIME TO BUILD

As we begin the new year, we enter a season of fasting with purpose.

This is a time to build.

Through prayer + fasting, we commit to:

  • Build a deeper relationship with God

  • Build strong spiritual foundations

  • Build discipline and focus

  • Build healing and restoration

  • Build unity and shared vision as a church

  • Build STRONG & FAITHFUL Disciples of Jesus

This fast is not about what we give up, but about what God is building in us as we step into the year ahead with faith and expectation.

Why Do We Fast ?

We fast to draw closer to Jesus.

Biblical fasting is about removing distractions so we can focus on God.

It resets our hearts, renews our spirits, and reminds us of our need for His strength.

When we give up something—usually food—we make space to give more attention to prayer, God’s Word, and our relationship with Him.

Fasting is an act of humility and surrender.

When fasting is joined with prayer and Bible reading, it leads to deeper spiritual dependence, fresh perspective, and renewed commitment.

Fasting without prayer is simply a diet.

So don’t forget to pray and seek God in His Word.

As a church, we will prepare for all God has for us by participating in a

14-day corporate fast and prayer,

On JANUARY 11-25, 2026

We believe God is calling us to draw near to Him—to go deeper in His Word, prayer, worship, and repentance—so we can live wholeheartedly for Jesus Christ.

In uncertain times, we need a firm foundation. Jesus Christ is our solid rock and cornerstone.

During this season of prayer and fasting, we are believing God to:

  • Soften our hearts to His Word and the voice of the Holy Spirit

  • Root and ground us in the love and truth of Christ

  • Grow our devotion and surrender in prayer, Scripture, and worship

  • Deepen our love for the gospel and the cross of Christ

  • Give us greater revelation of Jesus through the Holy Spirit

  • Bring inward heart transformation that only He can produce

Through this fast, we are asking God for undistracted focus and wholehearted devotion to Jesus. We are believing for strength in our inner being by the power of the Holy Spirit, that we would be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

What is a Daniel Fast?

The Daniel Fast is based on the biblical story of Daniel, a young man from Judah who was taken captive to serve in the king’s palace.

Daniel chose not to eat the rich foods offered to him because they went against God’s law.

Instead, he committed in his heart to honor God.

Daniel asked to eat only vegetables and drink water for a period of time.

At the end of the fast, he was healthier and stronger than those who ate the king’s food. God blessed Daniel with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, including insight into visions and dreams.

As a church, we will participate in the Daniel Fast to renew our spiritual focus, deepen our dependence on God, and devote ourselves to prayer.

During this fast, we will avoid meat, sweets, and bread.

We will eat fruits, vegetables, lentils, and drink water or juice (Daniel 1:5–21).

The Daniel Fast is similar to a vegan diet.

It excludes all animal products as well as processed foods, additives, preservatives, sweeteners, alcohol, and white flour products.
